Prohibited to Operate under GCQ?: Dont Worry, in Pasig 2nd Qtr Business Renewal Extended Until July 25, 2020

Is your business not allowed to operate under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ)? Did you fail to renew your business permit during the extended deadline under Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 53 Series of 2020 and Department of Finance Circular No. 002-2020 this June 25, 2020? Need not worry.


The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Pasig approved Resolution No. 73 Series of 2020 " A Resolution Extending the Deadline for Payment of All Taxes, Fees and Charges in favor to the City Government of Pasig of All Business Establishments that are still Prohibited to Operate during the General Community Quarantine Period Until July 25, 2020, and for other purposes." Authored by Councilor Gregorio "Ory" P. Rupisan Jr.

Under DTI Memorandum Circular 20-33 Series of 2020, the following establishment are not allowed to operate during GCQ;

1. Gyms
2. Fitness studios
3. Sports Facilities
4. Entertainment and kids amusement center
5. Internet and computer shops
6. Cinema and theaters
7. Karaoke and comedy bars
8. Nightclubs and beerhouses
9. Toy stores, playgrounds and rides
10.Travel agencies, tour operators, reservation service and related activities
11. Casinos and gambling activities
12. Other personal care services (e.g massage parlors, sauna, facial care, waxing, etc.
13. Pet Grooming, and
14. Other amusement and leisure establishment that promote mass gathering.
